Dear Humane Society Friend:
Serving the entire County of Charlevoix, the Humane Society struggles every year to raise enough funds to support our cause. In the past we have done this through small fundraisers, some grants, annual appeals and solicitations. The board, staff, and volunteers work hard to raise every nickel.
The Charlevoix Area Humane Society is an independent nonprofit 501c3 organization; we depend totally upon the generosity of caring individuals to help us carry out our shared mission, which is “To practice and promote the principle that every life is precious. As such, we are committed to the highest principles of humane care and professional treatment of injured, ill, neglected or abused animals”.
So, I am asking for your help.
This summer, we are hosting our Dining 4 Paws event. This event is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year and we need your support both in volunteering to help us in running the event smoothly as well as your participation in the event. There will be a dinner, music, silent and live auction items to bid on. So stay tuned for more information regarding this event.
