What should we say about Scott? He is innovative and a creative thinker. He is always up for a good conversation. He has boundless energy and his mind never stops working. He is passionate about many causes including our very own Humane Society.
Betty Korthase, Office Manager
Betty joined our team in the Spring of 2013 as a dedicated volunteer then became a valued addition to our staff as a kennel attendant, and now Front Office Manager. Betty is a local gal born and raised, a previous business owner and long time Rotarian in the Boyne area. She is friendly and professional and will probably be the first person to greet you with a smile when you walk in the shelter door!
Terri Thomasma, Licensed Veterinary Technician/Kennel Supervisor
Terri came on board in September 2018 to accept the position of Vet Tech/Kennel Supervisor. Terri is a graduate of Baker College with a degree of Applied Science - Veterinary Technology. She fulfills a goal of the Humane Society Board of Directors to have a Vet Tech on the CAHS staff.
Karen Jervey, Kennel Attendant
Karen is full of energy, and enthusiasm for the animals. Karen is a retired teacher and a true definition of an animal lover, she has been a long time volunteer here serving as a dog walker, rain or shine. She claims she is now doing her dream job working here at CAHS whenever her schedule allows the time.
