FOSTERING

Charlevoix Area Humane Society is always looking to expand the options of the animals that come to us. Sometimes we have an expectant mother that's looking for a place to stay for awhile. We are looking for homes for these types of animals to stay in for a short time.  

• If you have any pets of your own, are they all currently up to date on vaccinations and altered?
• Do you have a spare room in your home to offer an expectant mother where she will feel safe?
• Do you have the time to socialize with the mother and her children while they are in your care?
• Do you have a fenced in yard available for a dog that you may be fostering or are you willing to walk the dog on a leash every time she needs to go out?
