Meet the Staff

Jodie Adams, Executive Director
Jodie has been with CAHS since 2006. Her skills and interest are varied and include small business management, financial management, fine arts and graphic design. Under her guidance our humane society has achieved an unprecedented increase in the rate of homeless pets going into new homes. Dog training and showing have been a passion for many years and she has put well over thirty show titles on her two corgis and several border collies.

Carla Brazell, Front Office Manager
Carla has been with CAHS for a bit over a year. She comes to us with a great love of animals and a great many organizational and office skills. Most likely the first person you will meet when you come through our doors she will greet you with a smile and help you with any questions you may have.

Cayleigh Burnett, Kennel Attendant
Cayleigh has been with CAHS three years. She will be happy to assist with your adoption questions and any animal behavior questions that you might have as well.

Nick Grandmason, Kennel Attendant
Nick came to us in the “Michigan Works” program two summers ago as a high school student. He worked out so well that we kept him on when the summer ended. He is a dedicated animal caretaker seeing to the needs of the dogs and cats in a caring manner.
